'GOUT is a condition where in the purine from food is converted as uric acid causing inflammation in the joints of hands and feet.   How to avoid Gouty Arthritis? 1. Drink 8-9 glasses of water, since it helps in flushing out excess uric acid through our urine. 2. Eat foods high in Vitamin C, since it acts as a solvent dissolving uric acid formation. 3.
